Roots Country School has collaborated with LEAD curriculum for class Nursery to 9th from session 2023. LEAD curriculum is benchmarked with NEL Singapore and is in-line with the NCERT curriculum as prescribed by NEP 2020. Roots Country School Library plays a vital role for students. Students can have access to a variety of sources from story books to reference books, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, General Knowledge books, English literature, Hindi literature, Sports related books a wide range of periodicals are available and arranged in different sections. A special Hindi books corner is recently added for all students. The School Library also has a good collection of general books for all ages which provides information and inspiration, information. Library Circulation is fully computerized with the help of School Pad library software. We have an array of 6 computer systems to facilitate E reading. We also carry out Weave-a-thon activities regularly to help the students with creativity, imagination and public speaking. Book Exhibitions are held for giving new exposure by organisations like National Book Trust etc. Beside Reading, many activities are organized according to the class schedule like Book Reviews, Book Mark Making, Roll and Retell, General Knowledge Quizzes, Book club Tasks, Word Search etc.
Art & Craft
At Roots Country School Panchkula, our dedicated team of trained professionals provides daily guidance and instruction in a variety of creative disciplines, making participation in these hobby classes a mandatory and enriching part of the curriculum. Students receive professional training in diverse dance forms, allowing them to express themselves and explore their artistic potential. In addition, we place a strong emphasis on music, offering comprehensive programs in both vocal and instrumental training.
